I live in New Zealand, a little country made up of 3 islands in the pacific ocean. We have about 5 free to air TV channels which really doesn't give much choice. We do have SKY TV which is a digital service where there is about 100 or so channels but then set up costs, the cost of the satellite dish and then the monthly fees all together are so expensive.
So I went out in a mission to find ways that I could view Satellite TV in New Zealand for as little cost as possible.
In my search I came across something called Satellite TV for PC. Basically it is a piece of software that allows your PC - through an internet connection - to access not just 100s but THOUSANDS of satellite channels and view them on your PC or Laptop.
Now I did find some hoax websites that claimed you could do this but actually did not - only found this out AFTER I had paid. But I did find some websites and software that genuinely work and for a one time fee gave me access to 1000s of satellite TV channels all the way down the bottom of the globe in little old New Zealand :-)
In fact it doesn't matter where in the world you are, as long as you have an internet connection you can view 1000s of channels straight to your PC. Any way mission completed, now I can share with others the fruits of my success.
